I try to dine here at least once on my every visit to Le Lavandou. Reservation here is strongly advised, another option is to come very early. For my last visit I opted for a more expensive menu with Tartare de thôn and saumon as a starter, thôn mi-cuit as a main (yummy ratatouille deserves a special mention) and panna cotta for dessert. All was delicious.

Attention, don’t visit this restaurant if you want to have an enjoyable evening. We visited with the family. My dad is Chef de cuisine and we convinced him to choose this restaurant because we enjoyed the food two years ago very much. Our visit this time was horrific. The fish soup was watery and the crabs were full of sand. The filet mignon was only 150 gram and well done instead of blue and 300 gram. The apple pie dessert was looking - sorry for this word - disgusting and wasn’t fresh. We don’t hesitate to spend money but we would love to receive a decent quality.

The owner and staff were incredibly nice and hospitable here! The food was so good that my girlfriend and I ate here everyday when in Le Lavandou for a week. Highly recommend eating here on a date or just for a great meal.

We were there on a Friday night, all good restaurants nearby the port were fully booked, so we had to visit this one. And it turned out to be indeed not so good. The chicken tasted like their lemon soap and the fish was quite soggy and not fresh. The bread was a bit sour and fries quite oily and old. The girls were nice and guys were grumpy at the restaurant. Wouldn’t recommend this one (would recommend calling for a 4.5+ restaurant in advance to book a seat)!
